With the recent warm up and a little rain our early winter base disappeared. Now the lake is kicking in with Lake Effect snow forecasted off and on the rest of next week. There's just enough out there to take a snowmobile for a cruise or even glide the trails on cross country skis. We hope to see you this winter season.

Winter Activities Abound
Colder than average temperatures, cold Canadian fronts and Lake Effect snow is bringing Glendorn into the winter fun season. Bring your family and friends for winter fun. Glendorn has a fleet of snowmobiles for touring the property or nearby Allegheny National Forest with our experienced guides. If cruising down a trail on a machine isn't your idea of winter R&R try snow showing or cross country skiing many miles of private trails on property. We look forward to seeing you this winter.

Summer Sun Big Brown Fun.
With low water and above average temperatures the big browns have still been coming out to play. Guests this week should expect ideal fishing conditions with spring/summer like weather and great mayfly hatches. Glendorn guides Shane Appleby and Damon Newpher are ready to hit the water and show you some of the great fishing that we have here in Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Fishing the Caddis Blizzard!
There has been continuous Caddis activity on the river pretty much throughout the day, with the "blizzard" getting even more intense close to sundown. Sometimes so intense that you have to cover your mouth from inhaling them! Try Orvis's Splitsville Caddis on top for rising fish or a beadhead Caddis Pupa fished deep when feeding sub surface.
